New Production! For the 225th anniversary of Mozart’s death, Teatro alla Scala presents a new staging of his delightful comic opera, entrusted to Frederic Wake-Walker, an extraordinary young director, whose La finta giardiniera was the revelation of the 2014 Glyndebourne Festival. The music will be steered by the one of the finest Mozart conductors of our times, Franz Welser-Möst. The excellent cast is led by Diana Damrau and Carlos Álvarez.
