Crude oil coming out of a middle-aged woman‘s body empowers her on one hand, but it also introduces uncertainty and paranoia into her life. When male paranoia is built up against her body’s malfunction, oil being gradually trivialized and just there to solve small family and immigration issues, the condition gets exacerbated, Foziye’s body stops producing it.
