Set in the bohemian town of Zakopane in the stunning Tatra Mountains, “Dangerous Men” is a fast-paced comedy crime story merging humour, flamboyant historical figures and vibrant Polish folklore to deliver a delightful piece of cinema to be enjoyed by all.
Mountain retreat of Zakopane, 1914. Writer Joseph Conrad and three other eminent figures of the Zakopane bohemia, poet and paediatrician Tadeusz Boy-Żeleński, artist Witkacy and anthropologist Bronisław Malinowski wake up after a crazy drug-filled party with a dead man on their couch and without clues as to who the poor fellow was, why he's dead, or why the gendarme is knocking at the door. A race against time begins to solve the mystery of what happened the previous night.
