A warm-hearted dramatic comedy featuring stellar performances, Bubble follows the story of 16-year-old small town girl Evelina (wonderful newcomer Stella Leppikorpi) must face reality world collapses when she finds out her mother is having an affair.
When Evelina sees her mother kissing another woman, her world collapses. While her father often has benevolent advice for his daughter, he does not seem to see his marriage is in danger.
Like most teens, Evelina thinks liberally and wants her own freedom of thought and action. But fearing her parents' separation, she decides to intervene and keep her parents together by any means necessary. As she tries to stop her mother’s affair and get her parents to fall in love again, dramatic and comedic consequences arise when the bubble finally bursts.
