From BAFTA-nominated director Georgia Oakley (Blue Jean) comes a sweeping new adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved novel, following the Dashwood sisters as they navigate romance, responsibility and an uncertain future after the death of their father leaves the family financially displaced.

Prudent Elinor (Golden Globe nominee Daisy Edgar-Jones) quietly wrestles with her feelings for Edward Ferrars (BAFTA nominee George MacKay), while passionate Marianne (Esmé Creed-Miles) finds herself torn between the charming John Willoughby and the steadfast Colonel Brandon. As both sisters confront disappointment, desire and the expectations placed upon them, they discover the delicate balance between following the heart and listening to reason.

Also starring Golden Globe nominee Caitríona Balfe and BAFTA winner Fiona Shaw, Sense and Sensibility is a beautifully realised tale of sisterhood, longing and the enduring question of whether love is best led by sense or sensibility.
