Set against the rugged landscapes of 1970s New Zealand, HOLY DAYS marks the feature directorial debut of Nat Boltt and brings together an acclaimed ensemble led by Academy Award nominees Judy Davis and Jacki Weaver, alongside BAFTA-winning actress Miriam Margolyes. After the death of his mother, young Brian seeks comfort at a run-down convent, where he forms an unlikely bond with three eccentric elderly nuns. When their beloved home comes under threat of closure, Brian persuades the sisters to embark on an extraordinary journey across the country to find a former nun-turned-lawyer who may be their last hope. Along the way, unexpected friendships are forged, faith is tested, and Brian discovers that miracles can arrive in the most unexpected forms.
