Hold Your Breath. From director Brian Duffield (No One Will Save You) comes WHALEFALL, a heart-stopping thriller that follows one man’s tense race for survival in the ocean’s depth after being swallowed by a sperm whale. Following the death of his father, Jay Gardiner (Austin Abrams, Resident Evil) goes diving off the central coast of California in search of his remains. In the ocean’s depth, he suddenly finds himself tangled with a giant squid and abruptly swallowed by a massive sperm whale. Trapped inside its belly, with only one hour of oxygen left, battling both the rising and dropping air pressure and the squid trapped inside, Jay comes to realize that the hard-earned lessons his father imparted may be the key to his escape. Featuring a gripping performance from Abrams, alongside Academy Award-nominee Josh Brolin, Emily Rudd (One Piece) and Golden Globe nominee Jane Levy (Evil Dead), WHALEFALL is not only a gripping thriller that will have you holding your breath, but also a beautiful exploration of grief and the growth that comes from facing it head on.
